How was your experience at the Gentilly Festival?
My experience at the Gentilly Fest was amazing. I got to meet so many different people from different schools, fulfill orders, take charge, and be in the midst of one New Orleans’ best festivals!
Was your $500.00 award beneficial?
The majority of the scholarship money went to books as I had a scholarship that covered tuition but not books.
If provided with the opportunity, would you participate in this effort again?
Although I will be unable to attend this year’s fest being that I’ll be moving out of state, I’d be more than happy to do it again if I am to return back to LA! The festival only lasted 3 days but those 3 days will be memorable for a lifetime!

How was your experience at the Gentilly Festival?
My experience at the Gentilly Festival was amazing. It was my first time ever volunteering for something as big as this festival. I enjoyed working at the lemonade stand servicing customers and working with others to ensure our teamwork and the process itself ran smoothly. I went from making beverages to taking orders and guaranteed that every customer was satisfied with their purchase.
Tell how your experience at Gentilly Festival defined your opinion of volunteerism.
My experience at the Gentilly Festival defined my opinion of volunteerism to where I see how important volunteering really is. It’s incredible to see how much work people can accomplish when we come together as a community to give back to others. I enjoyed each day I was out there and seeing a smile on the customers faces was rewarding enough for me.

Yes, I would participate as a volunteer again.
